Excited about the upcoming music video directed by the 'Pi' helmer, Reed hopes that the clip 'can be his next Black Swan.'

AceShowbiz - "Black Swan" helmer Darren Aronofsky is confirmed to direct a music video for "Iced Honey", a single recorded by Metallica and Lou Reed. The Academy Award-nominated moviemaker reportedly will film the clip in the San Francisco Bay area.

Metallica's drummer Lars Ulrich said the collaboration is like "living the dream." He gushed, "As if making a record with Lou Reed is not enough, now I get to make a video with Darren Aronofsky, who has been among my very favorite filmmakers since his first movie, 'Pi'."

Echoing Ulrich's statement, Reed also proclaims his love for the 1998 psychological thriller where Aronofsky serves as a director, producer and writer. The former member of The Velvet Underground additionally hopes that the upcoming video "can be his next Black Swan."

Aronofsky eyes to release the music video later this month. The helmer has tapped his longtime cameraman Matthew Libatique, who has been a cinematographer for several of Spike Lee's films, as director of photography for the project.

"Iced Honey" appears in "Lulu", an album recorded by Metallica and Lou Reed. The collaborative project was released in the United States on November 1.
