AceShowbiz - ABC and MTV have each set a premiere date for one of their hit reality shows. The former schedules the sixteenth season of "The Bachelor" for a Monday, January 2, 2012 premiere, while the latter network plans to debut the fifth season of "Jersey Shore" on Thursday, January 5, 2012.
The new installment of dating show "Bachelor" will star Ben Flajnik as the eligible bachelor looking for the woman of his dreams. The vineyard owner from Sonoma, CA. previously got rejected by Ashley Hebert in the finale of "The Bachelorette" season 7.
As for the upcoming season of "Jersey Shore", it will see the guidos and guidettes returning to Seaside Heights after they filmed the fourth season in Italy. A sneak peek to the new chapter was recently shared, showing DJ Pauly D burning his face when trying to get his skin tanned, and the cast preparing to hit their favorite club, Karma.
