Dressing as Little Red Riding Hood, the 'Hairspray' actress gets rave reviews and the highest score from judges although she has bruised ribs.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" returned with a Halloween theme on Monday, October 31. Dancing on a ghoulish ballroom accompanied by the band who dressed as zombies, the remaining six contestants channeled various characters with their costumes.

David Arquette started out the performance show. He danced a cha cha to Steve Miller's "Abracadabra" while dressing as a magician. Carrie Ann Inaba praised him for his "phenomenal" improvement, but Len Goodman noted that the actor needed a "little bit more rhythm." David earned 24 out of 30.

J.R. Martinez came out next to perform a tango to "Ghostbusters". Bruno Toli gushed, "Bewitched! Conquered! And swept away by the ghostly beauty!" He, however, pointed out that J.R. "lost it a few times," and Len added, "For me, this performance was substandard to what I expect from you." The "All My Children" star scored 25.

Nancy Grace danced a jive to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", but Len thought the dance did not suit her. Bruno commented, "You're suitably devilish, but the footing was devilish as well," while Carrie Ann saw that the HLN host lost the choreography several times. She earned 21 which was the lowest individual score of the night.

Rob Kardashian performed a tango to "The Addams Family" which he compared to the Kardashian clan. Carrie Ann thought it was his best dance so far. Agreeing his fellow judge, Len said, "Well done! I'll tell you what, I think you did a terrific job." The little brother of Kim Kardashian got 25.

Ricki Lake later took the stage to dance a paso doble to "Sweet Dreams" with Little Red Riding Hood theme. She impressed the judges for showing an incredible performance although she has been diagnosed with inflamed nerve on her ribs. Carrie Ann additionally praised her shaping, but criticized her shoulder posture. Ricki earned 27 which was the highest point for the individual dance this week.

Next up was Hope Solo who danced a samba to "Werewolves of London". Her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy recently hurt his toe, but managed to return in time to take the floor on the performance show. Len said, "You coped well with a very difficult dance," while Carrie Ann compared it to her previous routine as saying, "This was better than that 'Toy Story' dance." She earned 24.

After the individual dances, the contestants performed in a group. David, J.R., and Nancy as well as their pro dancer partners danced a tango. Len and Bruno thought the group dynamic was good, but when they broke into pairs, it "was a disaster." Carrie Ann, however, said, "It was overall very nice." The judges gave them 23.

As for Rob, Ricki and Hope, they performed a paso doble in a group and earned rave reviews. Len said, "Your individual parts were fantastic," and Carrie Ann added, "You guys were in sync with your cape work!" The group scored 26.

The group score is added to the point from their individual performances and combined with audience's votes to determine who has to end his/her gig on the dancing competition this week. The result show will air on Tuesday, November 1 with Justin Bieber being slated to perform.
