A day after tying the knot with the former Major League Soccer player, Eva Amurri thanks those who've sent congratulatory messages, before adding, 'Off to our honeymoon to relaaaax.'

AceShowbiz - Eva Amurri is officially a married woman. The 26-year-old daughter of Susan Sarandon said her "I do" to former Major League Soccer player Kyle Martino in a ceremony taking place in the historic town of Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, October 29 afternoon.

PEOPLE detailed that the bride wore a dress by Lela Rose, who also designed the bridesmaids' dresses. The groom, in the meantime, donned a Brioni tux. The ceremony was officiated by Sister Helen Prejean, who was played by Susan in the movie "Dead Man Walking", while the mother of the bride co-hosted the nuptials with former partner Tim Robbins.

Eva and Kyle, who got engaged in December 2010, chose Charleston because it is the city where the soccer commentator's parents currently reside. During the black-tie dinner after the ceremony, guests toasted with Perrier Jouet champagne.

After the wedding, Eva took to Twitter to write, "It's official: MRS. KYLE MARTINO! We are thrilled and have danced our faces off! Here's to a lifetime, twitterverse! Xoxo." Hours later, she tweeted, "We are so touched and overwhelmed by all of your congratulations, thank you!! Off to our honeymoon to relaaaax ;)"
