Video Premiere: Common's 'Blue Sky'

has unleashed a music video filmed to support his latest single "Blue Sky". The clip directed by Parris features various different people, a ballerina, an artist, a violinist, and a basketball player, chasing their dream while keeping their heads held high.

"When I think of 'Blue Sky,' the first thought that came to my mind was just hope and dreams. ...I think 'Man, it's about to be a good day'," he said. "It made me feel like fulfilling my dreams and going to get what I wanted. And that's the theme of the song, 'Yo, go get your dreams.' "

In the video, Common is seen lying on his bed while rapping and looking dreamily at the ceiling. "I'm telling my dream and how I'm going to get it," the MC explained the lyrics of the song. "I'm telling others to go get it."

The inspirational song is taken from Common's new studio album "" which is coming out in the United States on November 22.
