Richard Levine and Lyn Greene have allegedly departed the Kelsey Grammer-starring series and Starz is now looking for replacement.

AceShowbiz - Kelsey Grammer's "Boss" has just lost its bosses. Richard Levine and Lyn Greene, who served as executive producers/co-showrunners, have reportedly left the new political show which recently debuted its first season on Friday, October 21.

There is no word on why Levine and Greene quit the Starz new series, but Deadline says search is currently underway for a new writing executive producer to join Farhad Safinia in season 2. Also executive producing the show are Grammer, Brian Sher, Stella Bulochnikov and "Milk" director Gus Van Sant.

"Boss" received mostly positive reviews following its premiere with praises for Grammer's performance as Chicago Mayor Tom Kane. Starz, however, had shown a confidence with the show long before that by ordering the second season a month ahead of the first season premiere.
