AceShowbiz - "The Talk" has tapped Aisha Tyler as its new full-time co-host, joining Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. The 41-year-old actress/stand-up comedian will begin her regular gig on Monday, October 24, Deadline reports.
Tyler, along with Underwood, is the new addition to the host line-up in season 2 following Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete's departure. The Andrea Marino of "Ghost Whisperer" has previously served as a guest host on the CBS daytime talk show for a week.
Tyler's other past TV credits include a major role on Jennifer Aniston-starring sitcom "Friends" and a recurring role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". She hosted E!'s "Talk Soup" and is currently joining the voice cast of FX's animated comedy "Archer".
