In a quite eerie coincidence, Muammar Gaddafi's year of death had been predicted by a 1980s sitcom "Second Chances" which starred Matthew Perry. The pilot episode of the show which aired in 1987 featured the ex-Libyan leader as one of the people showing up in Saint Peter's Office on July 29, 2011 to be judged whether he will go to hell or heaven.
Initially refusing to believe that he is dead, Colonel Gaddafi is seen trying to kill St. Peter by shooting him with a machine gun in the scene. He is later sentenced to spend eternity in hell where he will be a human bomb who blows up every two minutes.
In real life, Gaddafi was killed early Thursday, October 20 when revolutionary fighters overwhelmed his hometown of Sirte. The interim government stated that the 69-year-old former Libyan dictator was captured unharmed and later mortally wounded in the crossfire from both sides. Another report, however, said he was already wounded in the chest when he was seized before later sustaining other wounds.
