Justin Bieber spreads early Christmas spirit in the music video, and is announced to perform at 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest'.

AceShowbiz - One day after releasing his new Christmas single "Mistletoe", Justin Bieber unveils its accompanying music video. The Canadian singing sensation is seen spending the holiday with the girl of his dreams, buying her gift and taking her to a romantic date every girl could have ever hoped for.
Around the same time, it's announced that Bieber is going to celebrate the arrival of 2012 at "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest". It means that the teen singer is going to join Lady GaGa who has already been tapped as a musical guest for the upcoming show.
Talking to MTV about how he came up with the idea of releasing a holiday CD, Bieber says, "I was going to put out my album soon anyways, and I was thinking, 'It's near Christmas time. If I'm going to release an album near Christmas, I figure maybe I'd just do a Christmas album.' The fans get more music, and everyone's happy."
The album is going to make its way out in the United States on November 1 with $1 from every copy of the CD sold to be donated to charity. A mix of original jams and remixes of classic yulitudes, it lines up the likes of Usher, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, The Band Perry and Boyz II Men as featured guests.
One of the songs listed in the effort is a rendition of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town". It serves as one of the soundtracks for Hugh Laurie-starring film "Arthur Christmas". A music video for the revamped track is going to be debuted before the family movie arrives in the U.S. theaters on November 23.
"I picked 'Santa [Claus is] Coming to Town,' because everyone loves those songs. Those are classics. They get people excited for Christmas," he explains. "And then, for songs that we wrote, we wanted to make enough new songs for people to hear new music and not just hear some classics. There's a lot of new stuff on there."
Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation are some of the organizations which will receive the donation. "Universal never actually allowed money from the album to go to charity, so it's kind of a unique thing and I'm very happy and proud of what we've done," he says in a separate interview in Lima, Peru.
