AceShowbiz - A few days after announcing its nominees, 2011 American Music Awards reveals its performers and hosts. Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry are lined up as this year's musical guests, while Nicki Minaj is going to pull a double duty as a performer as well as host.*

The other artists confirmed to sing at the annual event are David Guetta, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson and LMFAO. Guetta and Maroon 5 are going to perform Usher-featuring "Without You" and Christina Aguilera-assisted "Moves Like Jagger" respectively.

Young Money rapper Minaj will team up with Pitbull to host the show.* Minaj and Pitbull previously joined forces at AMAs nomination press conference to announce the nominees along with Sarah Hyland, Mitchel Musso and Lance Bass on Wednesday, October 12.

The femcee said back then, "Me, I come to the awards shows and I just learn, I watch everyone, I see how they handle their performances and hopefully grab a couple things and apply it to my career. So to be here nominated and to also be performing at the AMAs, I want to thank you."

J.Lo is vying for one prize this year, battling Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias in Favorite Latin Artist. Bieber also gets one nod by competing for Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist alongside Bruno Mars and Pitbull. Minaj, meanwhile, appears in two categories. She's facing off Lil Wayne and Kanye West in Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album.

As for Katy, she scores three nods, all of which pit her against Adele who dominates the pack with four. The popstar has to beat Adele, Lady GaGa, Weezy and Taylor Swift in Artist of the Year. She is also vying for Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist, joining the battle with the "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker and the "Judas" singer once again. She also bumps into the British beauty in Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist alongside Bruno Mars.

*UPDATE (October 18, 2011 - 02:02:06 GMT): Nicki Minaj and Pitbull will not host the show. Dick Clark Productions confirm "no host" has yet been determined.
