The network will make the first episode of the new crime drama series available in full before its October 28 premiere to people who follow its official Twitter handle.

AceShowbiz - "Grimm" premiere is still two weeks away, but people can see the pilot in advance by following the official Twitter handle for the show. NBC announced on Friday, October 14 that tweeps who follow the show on the social networking site will receive a direct tweet with access information to watch the entire first episode, two weeks before its TV broadcast.

Also to boost the new drama series, NBC will screen the premiere episode in 10 cities nationwide, beginning Tuesday in Los Angeles with other stops including Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington D.C., Denver, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Seattle and Portland. Some cast members and executive producers will also attend the events in selected cities.

"NBC is proud to introduce 'Grimm' in such a novel way by reaching out to the show's Twitter followers and allowing them to be the first to connect with an equally unique series," said Len Fogge, President, Marketing, NBC Entertainment. "Likewise, the 10-city screening tour will give early viewers an in-person preview of the first episode to see what the excitement is all about."

Coming from the executive producers of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", "Grimm" centers its story on detective Nick Burkhardt who discovers that he's a descendant of an elite group of hunters known as "Grimms". The hunters are charged with stopping the proliferation of supernatural creatures in the world. David Giuntoli takes the lead role as Nick.

The new series was originally planned to be premiered on October 21, but was recently pushed back to October 28 along with returning show "Chuck" as part of NBC's two nights of Halloween-themed programming.
