AceShowbiz - Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees was rushed to a hospital in U.K. after complaining of pain in the stomach. Robin, whose twin brother Maurice died of intestine complication, was at his home in Thame, Oxfordshire, when he "taken short with pains". His wife Dwina then called the emergency services.

The singer was admitted to Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on Thursday, October 13 afternoon and was treated for severe abdominal pain and inflammation of the colon. According to Robin's rep, he is now going through a series of tests, adding that the situation is a "difficult time for him and his family".

The rep added, "Robin would like to thank all his friends and fans for their good wishes and sends them his love." As a result, Robin has to pull out of a BBC Songs of Praise concert. He was due to perform in Colchester, Essex on Friday.
