The lead actor of the famous wizard boy film franchise is set to appear as the special guest at the tribute event that will take place during the Spike TV Scream Awards on Friday, October 14.

AceShowbiz - Daniel Radcliffe will greet his devoted fans at a "Harry Potter" final farewell event for Spike TV Scream Awards. It has been officially confirmed that the lead actor of the wizard boy film franchise will appear as the special guest during the event.

The news about Daniel's participation for the event was revealed in an official announcement by Spike TV. "Come one...Come all...Come dressed in all things Potter!! Calling all fans to join Daniel Radcliffe for the once in a lifetime farewell to 'Harry Potter'!!!! That's right, he will be there," so read the announcement.

Daniel will be present at the special occasion, which is set to be held on Friday, October 14 in New York City and will air on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 18 at 9/8c P.M. The exact location of the event will be announced to around 1,000 of Potter fans who buy the tickets.

The last installment of the famous Hogwarts School film franchise, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", was released on July 15. The movie has become the biggest movie in 2011 and the third biggest movie of all time, trailing behind James Cameron's "Avatar" and "Titanic". Daniel tackled the lead role since the first movie, playing opposite Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as his trusted comrades Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley respectively.
