'Dark Knight Rises' New Set Videos See Batwing Flying Over Gotham Cops

Batman's ride was caught on camera flying among buildings with wires attached on it during the filming at Wilshire boulevard on Sunday night, October 9.

AceShowbiz - Batwing has been seen flying over Gotham police cars on the set of "The Dark Knight Rises". The trusted vehicle of Batman was videotaped gliding up among buildings with wires attached on it during a filming session around Wilshire boulevard in Los Angeles on Sunday night, October 9.

According to multiple onlookers, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake was also spotted on the set, sitting in a squad car with a blond man. The two are looking up at the Batwing as it flies away while cops are pointing their guns at it.

On the same day, Batpod was also seen on the set. In other set videos, the Caped Crusader is seen riding his super motorbike as he zooms through the street while around 50 police cars are trying to chase him. The Batpod has to have multiple takes after sputtering to a halt along the curb.

Currently still shooting in L.A., the latest Batman reboot is directed by Christopher Nolan. Lining up in the cast ensemble are Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman and Marion Cotillard. The highly anticipated superhero film is scheduled for a July 20, 2012 release in the U.S.
