AceShowbiz - "Supernatural" is not the only show which will feature a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" reunion. "Ringer" has just tapped Amber Benson for a guest-starring stint, reuniting her with her "Buffy" co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar who currently headlines the new CW series.
Benson, who is best known for playing Willow's girlfriend Tara Maclay on the 1990s hit series, will portray Mary Curtis, a stripper who is also an informant for Agent Machado, TV Guide reports. She is set to appear in episode 10 of "Ringer" freshman season.
After leaving "Buffy" in 2002, Benson has landed roles in a number of TV series. She once guest starred on "Cold Case" and "Grey's Anatomy", as well as appeared in two episodes of "Supernatural" as vampire Lenore.
Speaking of the Winchester brother supernatural series, it will feature "Buffy" alums Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters as a couple headed for divorce. Their episode will air Friday, October 21.
