AceShowbiz - Clint Eastwood is set to come back to the acting world. The 81-year-old veteran actor-turned-director is currently in talks with Warner Bros. Pictures to play in front of the camera again in a drama called "Trouble with the Curve".

Eastwood is expected to star as an aging baseball scout who goes on a road trip with his adult daughter. Eastwood's longtime comrade Robert Lorenz is in negotiation to direct, while Randy Brown has been tapped as the screenwriter.

The last time Eastwood starred in a movie was in 2008's "Gran Torino". At that time, he said the movie would likely become his last acting stint. However, he hinted that he might consider to return someday. "You never know when I'll be back... ," he said to Entertainment Weekly.

Eastwood has been busy directing several films. His latest production "J. Edgar", which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, is set to open in U.S. theaters on November 9. Meanwhile, his upcoming directorial project is "A Star Is Born", which stars R&B diva Beyonce Knowles.
