AceShowbiz - Ben Stiller is promoting his hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live" by appearing in an ad with regular cast Jason Sudeikis. The two draw their faces closer as if they are going to kiss after they sing praise to each other about their performance in their latest respective movie. In earlier scenes, however, the "Horrible Bosses" star embarrasses the "Tower Heist" actor with his retorts.
The upcoming episode that features Stiller as the host will air this Saturday, October 8 at 11:30 P.M. EST on NBC. Foster the People are tapped to serve as the musical guest. "SNL" alum Eddie Murphy, who also co-stars Stiller in "Tower Heist", was recently rumored to make a cameo in the episode.
According to The New York Post, "work is going on behind the scenes for Murphy to pop up" in this week's episode. However, his publicist has denied it as saying, "Mr. Murphy is not planning on returning to Saturday Night Live at this time. Perhaps at some time in the future."
