AceShowbiz - First trailer for "My Week with Marilyn" has been made available for viewing pleasure via Yahoo! Movies. In the video, Michelle Williams is seen going all out to portray the legendary Hollywood beauty Marilyn Monroe. The trailer also emphasizes the dichotomy of Monroe's private and public life while she was on her first trip to London.
Directed by Simon Curtis, "My Week with Marilyn" is based on Colin Clark's diaries, in which he documented the interaction between Monroe and Sir Laurence Olivier during the making of 1956's movie "The Prince and the Showgirl". The film chronicles a week Monroe spent in Britain accompanied by Clark, who then became her secret lover, after her husband left her during their honeymoon.
Joining Williams in the cast ensemble are Eddie Redmayne as Clark and Kenneth Branagh as Olivier. The film also stars "Harry Potter" beauty Emma Watson, "James Bond" actress Judi Dench, as well as "Captain America: The First Avenger" actor Dominic Cooper. The drama movie will be screened during the New York Film Festival on October 9, and will open in limited U.S. theaters on November 4.
