The '30 Rock' star and the 'Desperate Housewives' star earn 13 million dollars each, while Longoria's co-stars Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman take other spots in the top 10.

AceShowbiz - Tina Fey and Eva Longoria are racing against each other as the highest earning female star in television industry. With $13 million each, the Liz Lemon of "30 Rock" and the Gabrielle Solis depicter on "Desperate Housewives" are tied for the first place on Forbes' list of Hollywood's highest-paid TV actresses in one year span (May 2010 to May 2011).

Fey gained such huge cume since she also serves as a head writer and executive producer on the NBC comedy. Her first book "Bossypants" additionally sold 150,000 in the first month after it was released in April this year. As for Longoria, she cashed in extra money from endorsement deals with L'Oreal and LG.

Other female leads from "Housewives" also earn big from the soon-to-be-axed show with Marcia Cross trailing behind in the third position. The 49-year-old is tied with Mariska Hargitay ("Law & Order: Special Victims Unit") and Marg Helgenberger ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") who earned $10 million each. Meanwhile, Cross' cast mates Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman follow next with $9 million each.

Rounding up the top ten are Courteney Cox of "Cougar Town" ($7 million), "Grey's Anatomy" regular cast member Ellen Pompeo ($7 million) and Julianna Margulies who recently won an Emmy for her "The Good Wife" role ($6 million).
