An original story from Charlie Craig, 'Anything But Ordinary' will follow a diving phenomenon who is also a medical miracle.

AceShowbiz - Two young stars are teamed up for a music-driven love story from Alloy Entertainment and Southpaw Entertainment. Emma Roberts and AnnaSophia Robb will be starring opposite each other in "Anything But Ordinary", a drama project which will not only be developed as a movie but also a book.

"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" director Sanaa Hamri would take the role behind camera, using an original story and screenplay by Charlie Craig as well as Liz Garcia and Lisa Barrett. Per THR, film tells a story of a "seventeen-year-old diving phenom who suffers a tragic accident during her final Olympic trials".

"When she wakes from a coma five years later, as a 21-year old, she is considered a medical miracle. But what no one else knows is that the young woman has become a synesthete, processing words and numbers through color, the third dimension and sound."

While the book has been picked up by Hyperion, the film will be released independently.
