Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anna Kendrick Steal Attention at '50/50' N.Y. Premiere

The 'Premium Rush' actor suits up while the 'Twilight Saga' beauty glams up in pink mini dress as they hit the red carpet of the event that takes place in New York City's Ziegfeld Theatre.

AceShowbiz - Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anna Kendrick stole the limelight at the premiere of "50/50" in New York City's Ziegfeld Theatre on Monday, September 26. The actor who will be seen as John Blake in "The Dark Knight Rises" looked dapper in a traditional two-piece suit, while the Jessica Stanley of the "Twilight Saga" film series dazzled in a petal pink mini-dress.

The two were joined by co-star Seth Rogen, who looked sleek in a striped suit completed with a plaid tie. He arrived together with his fiancee Lauren Miller, who brought more colors to the red carpet with her pink sabrina frock. Another cast member spotted that evening was Anjelica Huston, who kept it simple with an all-black ensemble.

Among the celebrity guests during the evening were John Lennon's son Sean Lennon who came with girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl, Bill Hader who sported casual look in denim pants and black jacket, and T.V. Carpio who looked eye-catching in a green spaghetti-strap dress.

Directed by Jonathan Levine, "50/50" tells an original story about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Gordon-Levitt and Rogen star as Adam and Kyle, two best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis.

During the premiere night, Gordon-Levitt told reporters about the film, "Will, who wrote this movie, he actually did survive cancer and he decided to write a comedy about, I think that's really healthy, and it's ok to laugh, I think often times in really serious or horrible circumstances people are afraid to laugh even if something is funny and I think it's healthier to allow ourselves that."

Scheduled to be released on September 30, the film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Julia Benson as well as Philip Baker Hall. Rogen additionally teams up with Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin to serve as producers.
