A State Police spokesman explains that the supermodel got away with only a verbal warning because she was 'slightly over the speed limit', and didn't display any other dangerous behavior.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen left many wondering whether she got a celebrity treatment in her recent run in with the law. The Brazilian supermodel was pulled over by a state trooper for driving 70 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone last Saturday, September 17. Instead of a speeding ticket, she drove away with only a verbal warning.
To the Boston Globe, State Police spokesman David Procopio detailed that the 31-year-old beauty was driving her Cadillac SUV on Route 6 in Barnstable, Massachusetts when she was stopped by Trooper Michael Hopper. He added although there were two children in the vehicle at the time, they were properly fastened in their car seats.
Having said that "there was no 'I'm Tom Brady's wife' ", David added Gisele wasn't the only one getting verbal warning. "She received the same treatment as the other four drivers who were stopped under similar circumstances," he said. "She was slightly over the speed limit. There was no other dangerous behavior."
David stressed further, "There were no lane violations, no swerving, no aggressive driving - just driving too fast." As for reports that Gisele gave the trooper an autograph, the spokesman responded with, "No, not that I am aware of. There was no citation to be autographed. It was a verbal warning."
