Jon Cryer Thanks Charlie Sheen During Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Witnessed by wife Lisa Joyner and co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Angus T. Jones among others, the 'Two and a Half Men' actor was presented with his own star on Monday, September 19.

AceShowbiz - Though Charlie Sheen has called him a "traitor" and a "troll" earlier this year, Jon Cryer showed he has no hard feeling toward his former "Two and a Half Men" co-star. In fact, this year's Emmy nominee thanked Charlie when he received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday, September 19.

"I do have to say a real word of thanks to my co-star of eight years, Charlie Sheen, who gave me so much as a performer and who I enjoyed working with so much," the 46-year-old said during his acceptance speech. He also gave credit to co-creators Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn for trying to help Charlie.

"But perhaps, more importantly, I feel the need to thank Chuck Lorre and [co-creator] Lee Aronsohn," he said, "who when they saw somebody who was clearly in distress, took every possible means to try to help their friend, and who, you know, when it came time to make the ultimate decision, which was someplace that nobody wanted to go, did something that in my belief saved my friend Charlie Sheen's life."

Jon was presented with the 2,449th star on Hollywood Walk of Fame just hours before the season 9 premiere of "Two and a Half Men", which marks Ashton Kutcher's debut. His wife Lisa Joyner, comedy legend Carl Reiner and "Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre as well as co-stars Ashton and Angus T. Jones were among those present to witness the unveiling of his star.
