AceShowbiz - "Glee" season 3 will not premiere until next week, but some reporters have got a chance to watch the first episode of the new chapter earlier. On Thursday, September 15, Ryan Murphy screened the September 20 outing which might upset fans of some characters.
[SPOILER ALERT!] Santana leaves New Directions in the premiere episode, but Murphy assures that she will be back. Showing her wilder side by dying her hair pink and smoking, Quinn also vows not to sing again but it is unclear how long she will stay on with this state.
Meanwhile, a good news comes for Blaine's fans. The character portrayed by Darren Criss finally leaves the Warblers to be with Kurt at McKinley High. As for Kurt, he and Rachel learn that it is not easy to get into a performing arts college after high school.
Some new faces, including "The Glee Project" runner-up Lindsay Pearce and Lamarcus Tinker who plays Mercedes' new love interest, appear in the episode titled "The Purple Piano Project". As for the musical numbers, the cast perform "We Got the Beat" and Blaine delivers a sexy solo.
Speaking to reporters after the screening, Murphy explained that "the season ends with the core group, with many of them graduating and figuring out what their futures are." He additionally revealed his plan to make a two-hour tribute episode in the spring.
In another "Glee" news, Heather Morris recently said she would quit the show and acting altogether for the sake of her relationship with boyfriend Taylor Hubbell. "I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue doing it," she told Fitness magazine.
"My boyfriend doesn't like to see me kiss anyone on the show," she further opened up. Thus, she is glad that her character settled down with Artie in almost the whole second season.
