AceShowbiz - Cameron Crowe's drama "We Bought a Zoo" finally gets its first trailer released online. Making its way out via Apple, the video sees Matt Damon playing a lovely single parent with two children.

In it, Damon is seen dramatically quitting his job after following Thomas Haden Church's advice to move in to "a place with sunshine." He then decides to take his children to live in a zoo among lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, zebras and other wild animals. "You don't need any sort of special knowledge to run a zoo, just a lot of heart," so Damon says in a voiceover.

Based on the true life of Benjamin Mee, this drama follows a journalist who decides to move his family to an abandoned zoo, Rosemoor Wildlife Park, after his wife dies from brain cancer. He lives his days dealing with escaped tigers, raising endangered animals, working with an eclectic skeleton crew and readying the zoo for a reopening.

Damon stars as Benjamin, while Church portrays his brother Duncan. Joining them on the cast ensemble are Scarlett Johansson who plays zookeper Kelly Foster, Colin Ford and Maggie Elizabeth Jones who are cast as Damon's kids Dylan and Rosie, and Elle Fanning who plays Lily. The movie is scheduled for December 23 release in theaters across the U.S.
