New 'R.I.P.D.' Set Photo Sees Jeff Bridges as Veteran Gunslinger

The actor who is set to portray a character named Bo in the Robert Schwentke-directed action comedy is caught on camera sharing a chat with Ryan Reynolds on the set of the film in Boston.

AceShowbiz - First look at Jeff Bridges as Bo in "R.I.P.D." has come out in the form of a set photo. On Tuesday, September 13, the 61-year-old actor was snapped looking rugged in the streets of Boston. Wearing white suspenders, he has a chat with co-star Ryan Reynolds who straps on a gun holster to his cop attire.

In the movie based on a comic by Peter M. Lenko, Bridges plays an 1800's gunslinger who works together with Reynolds' character Nick Walker. The latter is a murdered cop who is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of dedicated yet dead police officers who battle the deceased who refuse to go quietly.

To open wide in the United States on June 28, 2013, "R.I.P.D." also stars Kevin Bacon who plays villainous Chase Wilkins, James Hong who portrays Walker's human avatar Grandpa Chen, and Marisa Miller who takes on Bo's human avatar. Robert Schwentke tackles the directorial duty with Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi penning the script.
