'True Blood' Season 4 Finale Recap: The Death and The Rise
TV

One protagonist faces his demise in a showdown with Marnie, another major character takes a bullet, while one vampire might be back from his semi-death.

AceShowbiz - The witch has finally gone in the season 4 finale of "True Blood" but that was not without sacrifice. [SPOILER ALERT!] Jesus was dead after he was stabbed by Marnie who possessed Lafayette, leaving the latter feel guilty. Marnie, however, finally left Lafayette's body after the dead spirits, including Sookie's grandmother and Antonia, showed up to help Sookie.

Later Nan visited Bill and Eric to tell them that she has quit the AVL and the Authority. She asked the two guys to join forces with her to harness Sookie's powers, but Bill and Eric turned down the offer. When Nan insulted Bill and Eric, they attacked Nan and her two troops.

Also after the showdown with the witch, Sookie decided that she won't choose either Bill or Eric. Meanwhile, Alcide had earlier met Sookie at the bar and revealed that he dumped Debbie. He also opened up about his feeling to Sookie, but she said she cannot change her heart.

At another place, Alcide found a broken chain at a parking garage, where Russell Edgington was buried. Leaving more cliffhangers, Rev. Steve Newlin returned in front of Jason and showed off his fangs, while Sam was confronted by a werewolf.

The Sunday (September 11) episode ended with Debbie coming to Sookie's house bringing a shotgun. She fired her gun at Sookie, but Tara jumped in and took the bullet. Sookie then took the riffle and shot Debbie.
