Also taking to Twitter to reflect on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people are the likes of Nicki Minaj, John Stamos, Travis McCoy and Olivia Wilde.

AceShowbiz - Ten years have passed since Americans witnessed the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people at the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Virginia, but the memory has yet to fade away. On the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, celebrities from Lea Michele to Moby shared their thoughts and paid tribute to those who passed.

"Glee" star Lea tweeted on Sunday morning, "To all the families and people of New York affected by the tragedies of September 11th my thoughts and prayers go out to you." Praising the Big Apple as "one of the most strong & beautiful places in the world", she added, "Feeling so thankful and blessed today.. And so happy to be with all my family and friends in this city I love with all my heart.."

Fellow New York native Moby wrote, "10 years. I think I'd rather remember in private." Still, the "South Side" singer, who was born on September 11, 1965, said in an interview with TMZ that he is now able to celebrate his birthday again. "It's been 10 years and a lot of NYers," he said. "I think we grieved for a while, but it happened a while ago. So I think we've sort of left the grieving behind."

Raptress Nicki Minaj made use of her Twitter to also salute military men and women who continue to fight for freedom. "Sending my love to the victims of 9/11. Remembering the heroism. The brave men & women. The troops. We become alive in the time of fear," so the "Moment 4 Life" hitmaker tweeted.

Others like Cory Monteith and Alyssa Milano simply reminded people to never forget, while John Stamos got philosophical by posting, "Love will always conquer hate." Travis McCoy, on the other hand, wrote, "Something about flying on this particular day that is mildly eerie. My heart goes out to the families of the victims of 9/11. Very sad day."

Also sharing thoughts were the Kardashians. Kim Kardashian tweeted, "My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families affected by the awful tragedy of 9/11," and her sister, Khloe Kardashian, wrote, "God bless all of those who were affected by 9/11. You and your families will forever be in our prayers."

Olivia Wilde reminded, "10 years ago today, our shocked world marched together for Peace. let's not forget that spirit. my heart goes out to all who have suffered." Wilmer Valderrama added, "On this September 11.. Let's remember it as the day we all stood united as one nation under god.. Tall and defiant against the face of evil."

"Jersey Shore" cast also took to Twitter and paid tribute. The Situation posted, "Please take a moment to remember all of those that lost or sacrificed their lives 10 years ago today! #ProudToBeAnAmerican." Snooki added, "Remembering 9.11 [Love] my prayers go out to all the families that lost their loved ones and all who serve our country! #Neverforget #fdny #nypd."
