Game's 'R.E.D. Album' Knocks Jay-Z and Kanye's Off Hot 200

Last week's champion 'Watch the Throne' has to give up their place to The Game's fourth album which actually sells below 100,000 copies.

AceShowbiz - The Game's "The R.E.D. Album" lands at number one on Billboard Hot 200 this week, shoving previous champion, Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne", to second place. Game's fourth studio album sold 98,000 copies, a number which although is low, still delivers him the throne.

The rapper's first two albums "The Documentary" and "Doctor's Advocate" both debuted at number one in 2005 and 2007 respectively. His third, which was released in 2008, sold as much as 239,000 copies but it got beaten for the first place by Slipknot's "All Hope Is Gone". "R.E.D.", however, is expected to be dethroned by Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" next week.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z and Kanye's collaborative album's sale is down 47|percent| this week, pulling only 94,000 copies. Adele's strong album "21" gets a 3|percent| increase to 82,000 copies and settles at No. 3. New entry takes the fourth spot. Barbra Streisand's "What Matters Most" become her 31st Top 10 album after selling 68,000 copies in the first week.

Pistol Annies' "Hell on Heels" bows at number 5 with 44,000 copies, followed by "The Now 39" compilation with 44,000 copies as well. At number 7 and 8 respectively are Luke Bryan's "Tailgates & Tanlines", which sold 35,000, and new comer "Muppets: the Green Album" which sold 30,000. Rounding up the top 10 at the chart this week are Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" and Eric Church's "Chief".
