While Adele scores four nods and Queen Bey is up for Best International Act, 'Do It Like a Dude' hitmaker Jessie J leads the pack with five nominations that include Best Album and Best Video.

AceShowbiz - Nominations for 2011 MOBO Awards have been unraveled. Announced on Wednesday, August 31, the 16th annual awards sees British singer Adele and R&B diva Beyonce Knowles among the contenders with the former scooping up four awards and the latter getting Best International Act nod.

23-year-old Adele nabbed a nomination in Best Song category for hit single "Someone Like You", and a Best Album nod for successful effort, "21". She is also up for Best R&B/Soul Act and Best U.K. Act. Pregnant Queen Bey, meanwhile, will face off the likes of Bruno Mars, Cee-Lo Green, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna in the international field.

Dominating the nomination list, however, was Jessie J. The 23-year-old hitmaker has five nominations under her belt. She got the chance to bring home the trophy for Best Newcomer, Best U.K. Act, Best Album for "Who You Are" as well as Best Video and Best Song for hit single "Do It Like a Dude".

Of her nominations, Jessie said, "I am so honored to be nominated. I have watched so many of the artists I look up to being nominated, winning awards and performing - its amazing to be in the company of such amazing talent. I can't wait to be there on the 5th. Thank you to the MOBO Awards and my fans for making this possible."

Also landing multiple nominations at this year's awards were Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah. Each of them scored four nominations, and will go head to head with Adele, Jessie, Chase & Status, Chipmunk, Example, Katy B, N-Dubz and The Streets for the Best U.K. Act title.

To take place in Glasgow, Scotland on October 5, the 2011 MOBO Awards will be co-hosted by Jason Derulo. Kanya King, CEO and Founder of MOBO, said, "We are very pleased with the level of this year's nominees, including many emerging artists, some who have come from backgrounds where they haven't been given a foot in the door, so-to-speak."

"These artists have shown real determination to make it happen. We applaud that today. It's great to be providing these artists in particular with a platform and they help to keep our event new, fresh and relevant - it will be a massive show at Glasgow's SECC on 5th October. Now, let's get the votes in."
