The younger sister of Beyonce Knowles comes out with a new series of tweets after experiencing an incident involving inflatable banana with Miami Beach police.

AceShowbiz - Solange Knowles is sticking to her accusation that a Miami police has pulled a weapon on her. The younger sister of Beyonce Knowles then came out with another series of tweets that give light to the unlawful acts by Miami Beach police.
After offering links to three news relating to the suits filed against the department, the 25-year-old tweeted, "Happy to hear justice has been served in those cases." She followed it up with a posting that read, "Interesting on how Kelis's attorney says: She was slandered by the police press releases that came out. [The reports were] totally false."
The singer then pointed out the "two systemic problems with the Miami Beach police" by tweeting, "the harassment of gay men in and around Flamingo Park, and the retaliation against persons reporting police misconduct." She noted in the end, "Yes, very funny a balloon was involved in the incident....but having a switchblade pulled out on you is no laughing matter."
On Sunday, August 28, Solange took to Twitter claiming that Miami police discriminated against her. She tweeted, "A police officer just pulled a weapon on me...I have done NOTHING illegal, against the law, or anything of the sort," before writing, "I am simply tired of police using arrogance, ego and authority as an offense."
To E! News, a spokesman for Miami Beach Police Department explained that the "incident" took place outside Miami's Club Cameo after Solange was denied access to the venue because she "was in possession of a 5-foot-tall inflatable banana." Det. Juan Sanchez added, "When she became abusive, she was pulled to the side. There was no mention of a gun."
To correct Solange's tweet, a statement came from Miami P.D. commander Delrish L. Moss. To Gossip Center, the officer said, "Over the weekend, the lion's share of the mainstream and entertainment media reported that the Miami Police Department had a confrontation with Solange Knowles, the sister of Beyonce Knowles of record and movie fame. We have investigated and found that this incident DID NOT occur in our city. We have determined that Ms. Knowles was not in our city at the time of the alleged incident. That city has informed us that they are looking into the incident. This incident DID NOT involve the Miami Police Department in any way, shape, or form."
