'George Harrison: Living in the Material World' captures the story of 'the quiet Beatle' which is yet to be told.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "George Harrison: Living in the Material World" has been unearthed for viewing pleasure. Making its way out via Yahoo! TV, it gives a look at how director Martin Scorsese captures the dramatic as well as inspiring life of The Beatles' guitarist.

The roughly three-and-a-half hour documentary will explore the musical and spiritual life of Harrison. It will also feature interviews with friends and collaborators including Eric Clapton, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, George Martin, Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Tom Petty, Phil Spector, Ringo Starr and Jackie Stewart.

Enjoying the stardom with The Beatles, George Harrison who was often referred to as "the quiet Beatle" had a successful solo career as an artist after the band split up in 1970. His career aside, he embraced Indian culture and Hinduism.

"George Harrison: Living in the Material World" will be premiered the New York Festival before it airs on HBO in a two-part presentation on October 5 and 6.
