AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures have unveiled a new featurette of "Real Steel". The video, titled "Main Event", highlights how Hugh Jackman's Charlie Kenton trains a robot, which he and his son find in a junkyard, to be a champion at the World Robot Boxing league.

Beside sharing scenes from the movie, the featurette also includes commentary from Jackman and director Shawn Levy, who dish on the story. The helmer additionally reveals how he did motion capture with real boxers choreographed by boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard to make the robot boxing scene.

Based on the 1956 short story "Steel", the movie follows Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next.

When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

Starring opposite Jackman as his son is Dakota Goyo, while Evangeline Lilly plays his leading lady Bailey Tallet. Hope Davis, Anthony Mackie as well as James Rebhorn additionally support the sci-fi drama, which is slated to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 7.
