Paula Deen Slams Anthony Bourdain for 'Most Dangerous Person' Label
Celebrity

The Food Network personality tells the 'No Reservations' host to get a life after he bad-mouthed her in an interview by saying, 'She's proud of the fact that her food is f***ing bad for you.'

AceShowbiz - A war of words is brewing between two TV chefs. Paula Deen has fired back at Anthony Bourdain for labeling her "the worst, most dangerous person to America". Offering her thought on the dissing, the Food Network personality said that the "No Reservations" host "needs to get a life".

"You don't have to like my food, or Rachael [Ray]'s, Sandra [Lee]'s and Guy [Fieri]'s. But it's another thing to attack our character," she told the New York Post's Page Six. "I wake up every morning happy for where I am in life. It's not all about the cooking, but the fact that I can contribute by using my influence to help people all over the country."

"In the last two years, my partners and I have fed more than 10 million hungry people by bringing meat to food banks. My good friends Rachael, Guy and Sandra are the most generous charitable folks I know. They give so much of their time and money to help the food-deprived, sick children and abandoned animals. I have no idea what Anthony has done to contribute besides being irritable."

The 64-year-old cook continued to point out, "You know, not everybody can afford to pay $58 for prime rib or $650 for a bottle of wine. My friends and I cook for regular families who worry about feeding their kids and paying the bills... It wasn't that long ago that I was struggling to feed my family, too."

Anthony took a jab at Paula in an interview with TV Guide. He was quoted as explaining, "She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations and she's proud of the fact that her food is f***ing bad for you. If I were on at seven at night and loved by millions of people at every age, I would think twice before telling an already obese nation that it's OK to eat food that is killing us. Plus, her food sucks."

The 55-year-old celebrity chef didn't stop just there. He also took to his Twitter and defended his comment in a series of tweets. In one of them that includes a link to Paula's "The Lady's Brunch Burger" recipe, he wrote, "I give you the 'horrific' 'Lady's Brunch Burger' (yikes) this erodes our military readiness!"

Another of Anthony's tweets read, "I love red beans and rice. Do I need it between pancakes?" Additionally, the celebrity chef offered a clarification on his TV Guide interview. He wrote "My comment was actually 'worst, most dangerous to America cook on FN [Food Network].' "

Anthony didn't only bad-mouth Paula in his TV Guide interview. He also took aim at Rachael Ray, Sandra Lee and Guy Fieri. Of Rachael, he said, "Does she even cook anymore?" Meanwhile, he confessed of hating Sandra's works and said he is glad he is not Guy.
