'True Blood' 4.09 Preview: the Heartbreak and Taylor Swift
TV

Jessica turns to Nan to pour her heart out, Hoyt chooses to return all of the young vampire's belongings, and Marcus pays Sam a visit.

AceShowbiz - Three new clips from the upcoming episode of "True Blood" have been unleashed by HBO. Instead of continuing to tease Sookie's current predicament with her vampires Bill and Eric, the videos focus on what Jessica and Hyot are dealing with and what happens in Marlotte's.

One clip sees blood-teary Jessica struggling to cope with her break-up with Hoyt and pouring her heart out to Nan, only to get shrugged off because the American Vampire League rep is not the motherly type. Another teaser shows werewolf packmaster Marcus dropping by Marlotte's to meet Sam.

The other video features Hoyt finding Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" CD which seems to bring back his memories about Jessica. He then puts all of her belongings, including a Twilight book, in a box with a message read "For You, Monster". Once he's finished, he gets unexpected visit from a possessed Lafayette who embraces his parenthood to the extreme.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, "True Blood" music supervisor Gary Calamar confirmed that Swift's song "Haunted" will be featured in the forthcoming episode. He said the track will be a backsound for "a racy, sexy scene," but he refused to reveal who's going to be involved in the steamy scene. Accordingly, Swift's camp initially refused to give their consent, but the country music singer herself later came forward and gave her blessing.

Titled "Let's Get Out of Here", the episode is going to air August 21. It will see Hoyt cutting ties with Jessica by asking Jason to make a delivery of the box supposedly filled with her belongings to the young vampire. Meanwhile, Sookie envisions a world where there's room for both Bill and Eric.

Jesus tries to purge the restless spirit out of Lafayette; Marcus enlists Alcide to help him deal with the Sam situation; and Bill and Nan Flanagan clash over their respective agendas. Despite Tara and Holly's misgivings, Marnie plots her next move against the vampires, during a "Festival of Tolerance" event at Shreveport.
