Ryan Murphy's 'American Horror Story' Debuts Three Mysterious Teasers

Playing with visual imagery, one of the promo videos aims to introduce two unique characters and their rather unusual friendship.

"", a supernatural series from "" creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, has been teased in three videos before its debut this fall. Courtesy of Yahoo! TV, the first teaser is simply called cello and features a human's stomach which is seemingly used as a musical instrument. It wants to introduce two unique characters and their rather unusual friendship.

The second one features a face of a baby which could also be assumed as a doll. The last teaser, meanwhile, sees two persons in a compromising position. The shot is aligned with the video's caption which mentions that it wants to explore a moment of lust and illicit passion.

Inspired by classic 1970s horror movies, the show centers on Ben Harmon (), a handsome therapist who, along with his wife () and their kids, moves from Boston to a haunted San Francisco home in an attempt to rebuild his family after a miscarriage and affair. plays their housekeeper while will play a younger version of the same character.

Living next door to Ben's family are Constance () and her daughter with down syndrome who knows more about the Harmon house than everyone realizes. Denis O'Hare joins the cast ensemble as Larry the Burn Guy, a former resident of the home.

"American Horror Story", which has been ordered for 13 episodes by FX, will premiere on October 5. Murphy and Falchuk penned the pilot, with Murphy also taking the helming duty.
