The special program will look back at the time when she was at the peak of her career by featuring her 2007 performances.

AceShowbiz - On the day Amy Winehouse was cremated, MTV announced a special tribute concert to celebrate the late singer's life and musical legacy. They dug into their vaults to find her rarely-seen performances from the year of 2007 when she was at the height of her superstardom.

The footage was taken from an intimate set which took place at Times Square studios as part of "45th at Night" live series. It will feature Winehouse singing such songs as "Rehab", "Back to Black", "Me & Mr. Jones" and "You Know I'm No Good". A duet with Mos Def will also be included.

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London Apartment on July 23. Condolences and tributes have since flooded the web to honor her. Some celebrities like Rihanna, Usher, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry mourned her death on Twitter by posting heartfelt messages.

However, Microsoft came under fire when posting a commercially-motivated obituary. Their tweet which read "Remember Amy Winehouse by downloading the ground-breaking 'Back to Black' over at Zune" was deemed "insensitive". They were forced to delete it and issue an apology.

After the corporation was slammed for the "download tweet," Keri Hilson landed in a similar situation. Some of the fans were furious because she posted a picture of Winehouse look-alike which seemed to be pretty out of it. "*gasp* Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance)," she wrote.

Despite the critique, the R&B singer called her Twitter post "the best tribute ever." "Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out," she came to her own defense. "#RIPAMYWINEHOUSE."

She later changed her tune, "I apologize 2 anyone who might've taken it the wrong way. As a fan, I thought it was cool that she dressed up to honor Amy..I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive...my bad twitterville."
