While the 'True Blood' hunk talks about discrimination and bullying, his co-star Kristin Bauer emotionally shares in her PSA the story of how she overcomes the lowest point in her life.

AceShowbiz - Alexander Skarsgard has a special message for parents everywhere. Taking a pledge against bullying, the actor known for his role as Eric Northman on hit HBO series "True Blood" lends his famous face for a new "It Gets Better" PSA and urges parents to lead by example.
"We have to teach our children that - not only through our words but through our actions - that every single human being has equal value," the 34-year-old stresses. "And to bully someone or force society to discriminate against someone because they have a different sexual orientation is unacceptable."
The actor, who recently received an honorary degree from Leeds Metropolitan University, continues with a vow of his own. "I don't have any children yet, but the day I do, I will make sure that they - before they can walk, before they can even crawl - know how important that is," he says. "And I hope you do the same."
Alex isn't the only "True Blood" star featured in a series of fresh "It Gets Better" PSAs. His co-star Kristin Bauer also shares the story of her lowest point in life to give encouragement to any young person who is struggling. At the end of her story, she says, "Just stick around and see it gets better."
