After being premiered at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 23, the first trailer for "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" has finally landed online. It opens with Korra leaving her home in the Southern Water Tribe and making her way to the United Republic.

A flying bison and a statue of grown-up Aang are also seen in the opening scenes which boast the beautiful landscape. Featuring almost no dialogs, the trailer then sees Korra showing off her skill in some battle scenes.

A follow up to "Avatar: The Last Airbender", the upcoming animated series from Nickelodeon has Korra as the main protagonist. As the current incarnation of the Avatar, she has already mastered the elements of Water, Earth, and Fire, but needs to master Air.

Her main animal pal is a polar bear dog named Naga, but the show's creators have said that flying lemurs will also make an appearance. She will fight against The Equalists who are led by a mysterious masked man named Oman.

"The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" is said to comprise of 26 episodes and premiere sometime in spring or summer 2012.
