In the emergency call she made to report Christopher's boogie boarding accident, the estranged wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger tells operator, 'He just can't move, he's having trouble breathing.'

AceShowbiz - An audio clip of the 911 call Maria Shriver made regarding her youngest son's boogie boarding accident has popped out online. Obtained by ABC News Los Angeles affiliate KABC, the recording revealed that the estranged wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger was calm when making the report.

In the call, the 55-year-old told the 911 operator, "It's like a boogie board accident, I think. He can't move off the beach. Maybe like broken ribs or something like that." When asked if she can see Christopher from her house, she explained, "It's my son... he's 13. He's awake and breathing ... he just can't move. He's having trouble breathing."

Christopher got into a serious surfing accident last Sunday, July 17. It was reported earlier that the teenager suffered multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung, and has been kept at the intensive care unit for days. Maria has been by his side all along, and Arnold kept his visits frequent.

After news of Christopher's accident broke, Maria and Arnold put a united front through a joint statement. "A few days ago our son Christopher suffered an accident at the beach. While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends. He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery," they said.

"On behalf of our entire family, we want to sincerely thank the paramedics and lifeguards who responded so swiftly as well as the doctors, nurses, emergency room and hospital staff who have cared for our son," they continued. "They have been extraordinary to him and to us. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and ask for respect and privacy for Christopher and our family."

Christopher's siblings, meanwhile, made use of Twitter to thank the well-wishers. Katherine wrote, "Thank you guys for ur concern and prayers for my baby brother! He's a tough little guy and getting better! Please keep praying for him!" Patrick also tweeted, "Thank you everyone for your messages about my brother. This kid is strongest kid I ever seen. Keep praying."
