The 'Chuck' actress reaches out to Sgt. Ray Lewis and begs him to take her to the Marine Corps Ball after Betty declined his invitation due to scheduling conflicts.

AceShowbiz - Linda Hamilton has turned the tables on Sgt. Ray Lewis. Shortly after Betty White turned down the Marine's invitation to the Marine Corps Ball, the actress playing Sarah Connor in the first two "Terminator" movies posted a YouTube video of her own in which she begged him to make her his date.

"Rumor has it that you like your actresses vintage," says the 54-year-old in the beginning. After explaining that she's wearing shades because her eyes are "puffy from crying all night long," she adds, "It was just a terrible night thinking about you, and the situation, and then Betty called and I talked to her for hours and I know she feels terrible."

The "Chuck" actress goes on to make her plea. "I know that I am no Betty White, but I would be really, really thrilled if you can't find anyone else to go to the ball with you, I could go," she says before pointing out, "I'm only half as mature as she is, wink wink, but I am twice as funny, so I think that works out!"

Sgt. Ray Lewis makes his own YouTube invitation to Betty White after Sgt. Scott Moore scored a date with Mila Kunis and Corporal Kelsey De Santis got a thumb up from Justin Timberlake. He explained in his video, "She's funny, she's sweet, she's mature. She's the all-around perfect woman."

Betty, however, revealed recently that she has to say no to the invitation. In a statement, the comedienne said, "I am deeply flattered and truly appreciate the invitation, as everyone knows I love a man in uniform... but unfortunately I cannot accept, as I will be taping an episode of 'Hot in Cleveland'."
