Capturing the dramatic life of the royal couple, the sneak peek includes a message from late Princess Diana to Prince William.

AceShowbiz - Just a few days after Prince William and Kate Middleton wrapped up their North American tour, the first teaser for a TV movie depicting their love story has landed online. Focusing on the newlyweds, "William & Catherine: A Royal Romance" will also feature Diana, the late Princess of Wales, as she appears in a flashback scene.
"A Royal Romance" will capture William and Kate's time as students at St. Andrews, William's military training at Sandhurst Military Academy, their break-up, their engagement and royal advice from the queen, William's grandmother. Initially called "William & Kate: A Royal Love Story", it will premiere Saturday, August 27 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on Hallmark.
Playing the royal couple are Dan Amboyer and Alice St. Clair, with Victor Garber and Jean Smart portraying Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles respectively. Jane Alexander, meanwhile, takes the role of Queen Elizabeth.
Previously, another TV movie about Prince William and Kate Middleton titled "William & Kate" was aired by Lifetime on April 18, just in time for the royal wedding. It, however, earned mostly poor reviews.
