Being released as a free download, the street album called 'Sorry 4 the Wait' is filled with remixes of Adele, Beyonce Knowles, Drake and Meek Mill's songs.

AceShowbiz - Aware that his fans are both frustrated and eagerly awaiting his new album "Tha Carter IV", Lil Wayne offers his apology for the delay. To tide them over and show how sorry he is, the rap mogul drops a free street album titled "Sorry 4 the Wait".

Weezy fills the mixtape with twelve tracks. He remixes Meek Mill's anthemic single "Tupac Back" in "Tunechi's Back", revampes Drake's drunken phone call "Marvin's Room", and does freestyle over Adele's frolicking beat of "Rolling in the Deep".

He closes the album by jumping into Beyonce Knowles' "Run the World (Girls)". He said over the Major Lazer's "Pon de Floor"-sampled tune, "I know I promised a whole lot of dates, but I'm sorry for the wait. I know y'all have been patiently waiting. I hope my apology is accepted, just as much as my music is."

"Tha Carter IV" will be released across the United States on August 29. "Just know that I have a pleasant surprise. A very pleasant surprise for this album when it comes out," Weezy promised his devotees. "I'm only doing this for the fans. Which I do every ... thing for."

In line with his statement, Young Money president Mack Maine hinted in a separate interview that there are some huge features which will complete the album. Official tracklisting for the CD hasn't been announced, but already Cory Gunz has been confirmed as a featured guest. An Eminem-assisted track is also expected to make the cut to the album.

At least three songs have been embraced by music fans. The most recent one is a sweet love song called "How to Love" which is a far cry from most of what he's been working over the years. Featuring broody lyrics, this song received mixed reviews from Weezy's devotees. Some were not sure about his new direction, but others were quite supportive.

Weezy himself said the song gives him "goose bumps." He said, "I can tell you that I've never had a single like it, and it's an amazing song. It's an amazing song." He added, "When I listen to it I get goose bumps. And I feel like the song is gonna take me somewhere that I've never been musically."
