Rep Confirms Denise Richards Adopts Baby Girl Domestically

The former wife of Charlie Sheen names the new addition to her family, Eloise Joni Richards, after her mom who died in 2007, and thanks fans for the congratulatory messages.

AceShowbiz - Denise Richards is now a mother of three. The star of "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" has recently adopted a baby girl from the United States, her representative confirmed to the press on Wednesday, June 29. She and her two daughters from previous marriage to Charlie Sheen named the new addition, Eloise Joni Richards.

On the choosing of the baby's name, Denise's rep explained, "Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom [Joni], and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise." The actress' mother passed away after a long battle with cancer in 2007. Her rep added, "Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

Shortly after news of the adoption came out, the former Bond girl took to her Twitter to thank fans for their congratulatory messages. "Thank you all for your sweet messages," she tweeted. In the same posting, she also expressed how happy her family is with the newborn. She wrote, "The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv...xo."
