The vampire-themed series joins 'America's Next Top Model' in the first round of the fall premiere, while 'Supernatural' and 'Gossip Girl' will return in other weeks of September.

AceShowbiz - The CW has become the first network announcing its fall premiere dates. Opening the fall TV season for the network will be "90210" which is paired with newbie "Ringer" on Tuesday, September 13, days before the official start of the fall season, which is September 19.
Wednesday, September 14 will see the premiere of two reality shows: one is freshman "H8R" while the other is returning show "America's Next Top Model". "The Vampire Diaries" and its new companion "The Secret Circle" follow a day later.
Meanwhile,"Supernatural" will only return for its seventh season a week later, on Friday, September 23 at 9 P.M. It will be preceded by the second season premiere of "Nikita". Rounding up the fall premiere are "Gossip Girl" and "Hart of Dixie" on Monday, September 26.
