Bieber and Drizzy are tied in their International Video of the Year by a Canadian win, while the Mother Monster grabs International Video of the Year - Artist.

AceShowbiz - 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards has been kicked off live from Toronto, Canada on June 19. Lucky musicians who were announced as early winners at the televised show included teen singer Justin Bieber, Young Money rapper Drake and Mother Monster Lady GaGa.

Bieber and Drake shared a trophy for International Video of the Year by a Canadian, winning over Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne and Fefe Dobson. The pop singer and rapper accepted the award from actor Colin Farrell and co-host Selena Gomez.

Before thanking his fans, Bieber had a rather awkward, but sweet encounter with girlfriend Selena. He put his arm around her and said, "Selena, nice to meet you. I'm Justin. You're very beautiful. Maybe we can go out some time?" Drizzy, meanwhile, went straight to deliver his gratitude, saying "I just want to say even though this is for International, I just want to say we both do it for Toronto."

As for GaGa, the outlandish singer who served as a performer that night went home with an honor for International Video of the Year - Artist. She beat heavy competitors like Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Eminem, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.

"This was Laurieann's and my first time directing a video together," she said upon receiving the kudo with her longtime choreographer who directed the clip. "Laurieann is also from Canada." She continued by giving a message to her Little Monsters, "Always stick by what you believe in and always stand by your vision." Before exiting the stage, she screamed "we did it" and gave Gibson a big hug.
