The CBS soap wins the coveted title for the third time in a row, beating out 'General Hospital', 'The Young and the Restless' and 'All My Children' this year.
2011 Daytime Emmy Awards Names 'Bold and the Beautiful' as Best Drama Series

"" still reigns at Daytime Emmy Awards. After winning Outstanding Drama Series title last year, the show scores the same coveted prize at the 38th annual ceremony. It marks the third time in a row the CBS soap snatching the trophy, tying the record of "Santa Barbara" (1988-1990).

"Bold and the Beautiful" gets other awards through Heather Tom who is named Outstanding Supporting Actress and Scott Clifton who is dubbed Outstanding Younger Actor. Additionally, the show is tied with "" for Drama Series Directing Team title.

Leading the nominees with 21, "" also grabs multiple kudos. Its stars Laura Wright and Jonathan Jackson win lead actress in a drama series title and best supporting actor in a drama series respectively.

"Young and the Restless" takes home another award for the best writing team in drama series category. The coveted lead actor in a drama series title goes to Michael Park of "", while Brittany Allen brings a pride to "" with her win for younger actress in a drama series.

Other winners at the 2011 Daytime Emmys include "" and "The Dr. Oz Show". The Wayne Brady-hosted show also presents Crystal Pillar Award to who recently resigned from her hit daytime talk show. The former "" host is honored with a tribute from and among others.
