In a promo for the 42nd season, the children TV series features 'SpiderMonster, The Musical' where the lead actor falls on its audience, Mr. Johnson.

AceShowbiz - On the heels of 2011 Tony Awards which celebrated the achievements in theaters, "Sesame Street" pokes fun at "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark". The parody takes a jab at the stage malfunctions suffered by the Broadway musical, which is scheduled to open June 14.
It features Grover, clad in a Spider-Man-like costume, falling on its sole audience, Mr. Johnson, who was initially very excited about the show. After failing to impress Mr. Johnson in the first attempt, the SpiderMonster asks Bono for a helping hand.
But the Muppet Bono does not help SpiderMonster fly either, and drops him on Mr. Johnson instead. The spoof also jokes about how many opening nights "Spider-Man" musical, which reportedly cost $70 million for the production, has undergone.
The "SpiderMonster" clip is offered as a sneak peek at the 42nd season of "Sesame Street", which will return with new episodes starting this September.
