AceShowbiz - Infamous "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood went to an Indiana court on Thursday, June 9 to plead guilty to domestic violence charges. The world watched last September as she slapped and kicked Gary Shirley, father of her baby, right in front of the child.

Soon after the episode aired, MTV was forced to give up the footage for further investigation. Amber was then charged with two felony domestic battery charges which could keep her behind the bars for three years or cost her $10,000 fine. But result from the court session on Thursday was far from prison or money.

Entering a plea that kept her off jail, she is put on two years probation by the Indiana judge who also ordered that she undergoes 30 days of inpatient therapy. Amber is also to obtain her high school diploma and put $10,000 in a college fund for her 2-year-old daughter.

In addition, Amber was granted a dismissal of "no contact" order between her and Gary who were not allowed to see each other without their daughter's presence.
