The music video made for the band's latest song from 'The People's Key' album is directed by 'Where the Wild Things Are' cinematographer Lance Acord and filled with pyrotechnics and fiery signs.

AceShowbiz - Indie rock band Bright Eyes have treated their fans with a new music video for "Jejune Stars". Coming out via MTV Hive, the explosive video is filled with pyrotechnics and features the band performing the hard-edged pop song in front of fiery signs.

"Jejune Stars" is an up-tempo synth-rock number from Bright Eyes' latest album "The People's Key". Its music video has "Where the Wild Things Are" cinematographer Lance Acord serving behind the lens. Back in February, the Conor Oberst-led band performed the tune on "Late Show with David Letterman".

Speaking of the album itself, Conor previously told Billboard, "I wanted to make a record that was modern-sounding and steer clear of some of my tendencies, melodically." He continued, "We're over the Americana, rootsy, whatever that sound is. People say country, but I never thought were very country at all."

The group founder further noted, "But whatever that element is or that aesthetic is, I guess it's worn a little thin for me these days. So we very much wanted it to be rocking and, for lack of a better term, contemporary, or modern."
